Marketing Coordinator (Benelux & Nordics)
Location: Belgium or the Netherlands, with flexible remote working
Reporting to: Head of Marketing (UK)
Markets: Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden
Travel: Regular travel across Benelux, with occasional travel to Sweden, the UK and wider Europe
About the role
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator act as the lead marketing contact for the Belgium, Netherlands and Sweden (with potential for expansion), acting as a key link between our global marketing team and regional commercial teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone earlier in their marketing career who is looking to build experience across a broad range of activities within an international business. This is a hands-on role combining planning and delivery. You will need to be comfortable developing a regional marketing plan (with support), while also managing events, producing and coordinating content, supporting sales teams and ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and wider team to translate global strategy into effective regional execution. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where organisation, attention to detail and a proactive mindset are key.
You will work as part of an international marketing team, as well as being a key part of the Benelux team with sales, service, clinical and creating the local execution plans.
Key responsibilities
Campaign and marketing support
- Planning and delivery of regional marketing campaigns
- Coordinate the local execution of global campaigns, ensuring relevance for each market
- Assist with campaign timelines, internal coordination and follow-up activity
- Track campaign activity and support reporting on performance
Events and customer engagement
- Delivery of regional events including congresses, exhibitions, workshops and customer events
- Working with the regional sales manager to coordinate on logistics, promotion and post-event follow-up
- Work with sales teams to ensure strong lead capture and follow-up processes
- Attend events and represent the business professionally
Content and communications
- Coordinate the development and localisation of marketing content
- Support case studies, customer stories, product communications and sales materials
- Assist the digital marketing manager with relevant and timely social media, email and regional communications activity
- Ensure all content aligns with brand and messaging guidelines
Regional coordination and planning
- Own the development and maintenance of the regional marketing calendar
- Help gather market insights, competitor activity and customer feedback
- Work closely with sales, service and clinical teams to support local initiatives
Budget and performance tracking
- Provide input for budget setting
- Manage budget tracking and supplier coordination
- Monitoring marketing performance and reporting against key metrics
- Help identify opportunities to improve activity based on results
What you will need to be successful
Essential
- 1–3 years’ experience in a marketing or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience planning and delivering events, exhibitions or customer programmes.
- Working closely with multiple stakeholders including sales, leadership, KOLs etc and aligning marketing activity with commercial objectives
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across different teams and countries
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Based in Belgium or the Netherlands, with ability to travel
- Professional fluency in Dutch and English
Desirable
- Experience supporting campaigns, events or content development
- Exposure to international or multi-market environments
- Experience using CRM or marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot)
- Additional language skills (French, Swedish or German)
- Interest in or exposure to veterinary, healthcare or life sciences sectors
