The Role

We’re hiring a Creative Director / Art Director to be the single owner of creative output across VUSH. As we scale into new markets and audiences, we’re creating this role to ensure our brand shows up consistently everywhere, from Meta ads to email to the website to packaging. You’ll be the person who owns that cohesion.

You’ll work directly with our founder and team to shape refreshed brand guidelines, then make sure every piece of creative we produce lives up to them. Think of it as the creative glue role, you’re the person who makes sure VUSH always looks and feels like VUSH.

What You'll Do

  • Own the VUSH visual identity across all channels: Meta ads, organic social, email/EDM, website, landing pages, and packaging direction.
  • Shape and document brand guidelines that reflect our creative direction, bright, bubbly, iridescent, youthful, and give every team member and partner a clear playbook to work from.
  • Be the creative quality gate. Everything outward-facing gets reviewed against the guidelines before it goes live.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external agencies to keep output on-brand without killing their creativity.
  • Develop campaign-level creative direction: mood boards, art direction briefs, colour palettes, typography, and photographic/illustrative style guides.
  • Keep evolving the brand for 2026 and beyond, we want someone who builds on what works, not someone who starts from zero.

Who You Are

  • You have 7+ years of experience in art direction, creative direction, or brand design—ideally for a DTC or consumer brand.
  • You’ve built brand guidelines before and know how to get cross-functional teams to actually follow them.
  • You have a sharp eye for visual cohesion and can spot when something is off-brand from a mile away.
  • You’re comfortable giving direct creative feedback to designers, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • You understand the constraints of advertising on Meta in restricted categories and can develop creative strategies that work within those limits.
  • You’re drawn to bold, playful, colour-forward brands. If your portfolio is muted and minimal, this probably isn’t the right fit.
  • Bonus: experience with Gen Z audiences, or the wellness/beauty space.
