About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Support Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline representative responsible for assisting our existing customers with their insurance policies and related services. Your primary duties will include responding to inbound customer calls, processing service requests such as adding or removing vehicles and drivers, updating lienholder information, and providing policy documents. You will also address customer inquiries regarding coverage details, policy benefits, and facilitate policy modifications to ensure customer satisfaction. A key aspect of your role will be working proactively to retain policyholders who may be at risk of cancellation by offering effective solutions and support. Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach
- Proficiency in using CRM and call management software
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or insurance preferred
- Experience or familiarity with insurance policies and terminology is a plus
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer calls and inquiries
- Process service requests such as adding/removing vehicles and drivers, updating lienholder information, and sending policy documents
- Assist customers with questions related to existing insurance policies, coverages, and benefits
- Make policy modifications based on customer needs and preferences
- Identify at-risk policyholders and work proactively to retain their business by offering tailored solutions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams and insurance carriers to resolve customer issues efficiently
- Stay informed about product updates, policy changes, and industry regulations to provide accurate information
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and support processes
