The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Marketing leaders and third-party agencies to define test scopes, prioritize initiatives, and establish success criteria. As an individual contributor, the Data Analyst II will ensure statistical rigor in marketing analytics, mentor junior analysts, and translate complex data insights into actionable strategies that influence long-term budget and channel decisions. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, media measurement, or a related field with a proven track record of influencing strategic marketing decisions.
  • Hands-on experience designing and executing geo holdout tests or similar geo-based incrementality methodologies.
  • Proficiency in building marketing forecasting models such as spend/response models, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), or channel-level forecasting.
  • Deep expertise in experimentation methodologies including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, sample size estimation, and statistical power analysis applied in marketing contexts.
  • Advanced skills in SQL and Python within cloud data environments like Databricks and BigQuery.
  • Experience working with marketing measurement tools and platforms, including MMM/incrementality platforms and ad platform reporting (e.g., Google, Meta).
  • Strong understanding of marketing and customer psychology, particularly how channel and campaign decisions impact acquisition and retention.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex analytics projects independently from discovery through implementation.
  • Proven commitment to mentorship and technical leadership, including conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
  • Strong drive for delivering innovative products and solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Optimistic mindset towards societal change and a belief in the mission of financial wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing measurement roadmap by collaborating with Marketing and external agencies to define test scopes, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Design and execute geo holdout tests and other incrementality methodologies to isolate and measure true marketing lift.
  • Partner with Data Science teams to maintain accurate priors and data inputs for Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).
  • Establish and uphold rigorous standards for marketing experimentation, including sample size determination, statistical power, confidence intervals, and post-experiment analysis.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models that incorporate seasonality, channel saturation, and macroeconomic trends to guide budget allocation.
  • Analyze large-scale data platforms such as Databricks and BigQuery to uncover channel inefficiencies, investigate anomalies, and generate strategic insights.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation workflows to streamline data extraction, automate analyses, and enhance engineering and analytical throughput.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level analysts, fostering a strong data-driven culture.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations that influence marketing strategy and long-term financial planning.
