About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team remotely. This pivotal role supports our recreational and medical markets by creating compelling digital promotions that drive customer engagement and business growth for one of the largest cannabis retailers. The Senior Graphic Designer will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, developing digital assets for campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and ongoing retail marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and proficient in translating campaign briefs into visually engaging content across multiple digital channels including email, web, landing pages, paid media, social media, CRM, and e-commerce platforms. This role involves close collaboration with Creative, Marketing, Brand, and Digital teams to ensure consistency with brand identity while exploring innovative visual storytelling techniques. The Senior Graphic Designer will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets that meet platform specifications and brand standards. Staying current with digital design trends and emerging technologies is essential to continuously enhance creative output and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional digital design experience, including at least 5 years in a Senior or Lead Designer role.
- Proven experience supporting consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, retail, or e-commerce environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital campaign execution, promotional marketing, email design, web design, landing pages, digital advertising, and responsive layouts.
- Extensive experience producing high-volume promotional creative in fast-paced marketing settings.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing best practices across email, web, social media, paid media, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
- Expertise in typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory, and digital design principles.
- Ability to work within established brand identity systems while developing innovative, engaging campaigns.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience designing responsive digital experiences and working within component-based design systems (preferred).
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work at scale.
- Design and execute digital promotional creative for weekly campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and retail marketing efforts.
- Create engaging layouts and digital assets across email, web, landing pages, paid media, organic social, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
- Develop creative within established brand identity systems while infusing each brand's unique personality into digital campaigns.
- Balance brand consistency with innovative design concepts that support campaign objectives and enhance brand recognition.
- Develop promotional creative that combines visual storytelling with merchandising priorities, messaging, and conversion goals.
- Adapt campaign creative across multiple formats and digital placements, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, Brand, and Digital teams to translate campaign briefs into effective visual solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Prepare production-ready assets that adhere to digital platform specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain and improve digital templates, design systems, and reusable components to enhance workflow efficiency and scalability.
- Stay updated on digital design trends, platform best practices, and emerging technologies to continually elevate creative quality.
