We are looking for a full-time Technical Recruiter at YTMG LTD. We make documentary-style videos that explain complex stories in a clear and engaging way for our YouTube channels:

Role Overview

This role is responsible for sourcing and hiring top technical and creative talent to support YTMG's continued growth, while also supporting day-to-day human resources operations. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for roles across video production, content and operations, and help keep our people processes running smoothly. This is a dual-function position - approximately 70% recruiting and 30% HR generalist work, suited to someone with a background in media industry hiring who is equally comfortable handling people operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and hire for technical and creative roles including video editors, motion designers, content producers, scriptwriters, and media operations specialists
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from job brief to signed offer, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates
  • Proactively build talent pipelines through LinkedIn, OnlineJobs.ph, YTJobs, Upwork, X (Twitter), Discord and other creator communities
  • Coordinate interviews, create and review test assessments with Team Leads and hiring manager feedback across open roles
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint
  • Manage onboarding for new hires, tool access, Notion and Slack setup, and 30/60/90-day check-ins
  • Maintain employment contracts and employee records in compliance with labour law
  • Support the performance review cycle, coordinate timelines, distribute templates, and assist managers with feedback
  • Keep people records, org charts, and headcount trackers up to date in Notion
  • Assist with offboarding processes including exit interviews and final documentation

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting and/or HR, with at least 2 years in a media, digital content, YouTube, or creative agency environment
  • Hands-on experience hiring creative-technical hybrid profiles (video editors, animators, graphic designers, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of labour law
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS tools (Notion, Greenhouse or equivalent)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and HR workstreams independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with creator economy talent profiles and what makes a strong media hire
  • Experience sourcing through freelance platforms such as Upwork, OnlineJobs.ph or similar
  • Exposure to employer branding or community-led hiring strategies

Contract & Hours

  • Full-time 40 hours weekly, remote
  • Daily overlap with Cyprus EET timezone
  • Must follow company confidentiality, IP, and workflow policies
