Zenphi is entering its next growth phase. We compete in a market that includes some of the world's largest software companies, but we win through product depth, speed, customer focus, and sharper execution. This role is for a commercially minded, hands-on growth marketer who enjoys building with limited resources, testing assumptions quickly, and taking real ownership of measurable growth.
About Zenphi
Zenphi is a no-code process automation and governed AI orchestration platform. We help organizations automate complex business processes across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other business systems — with enterprise-grade governance, auditability, role-based access, and human oversight.
We serve customers across education, healthcare, retail, professional services, and other industries in more than 40 countries. Having established the product, customer base, and marketing foundations, we are now building a more predictable and scalable growth engine.
Success metrics
- Number of sales-accepted SQLs generated
- Cost per accepted SQL
- Marketing-sourced pipeline (quality guardrail — so volume can't be gained by weakening qualification)
The mission
Build a predictable, cost-efficient growth engine that generates sales-accepted SQLs and qualified pipeline for Zenphi. You will own the broader marketing function while personally finding, testing, and scaling acquisition channels across inbound, outbound, and direct outreach.
This is a full-stack ownership role: you'll own our existing brand, content, SEO/AEO, and website/vendor relationships, and build out the demand-generation motion we don't have today. You'll need to be flexible and take full ownership of getting results — testing channels hands-on, including outbound and direct outreach, whenever that's what moves the needle, while coordinating closely with our commercial lead.
What you'll do
- Own SQL generation as your primary mandate, selecting the most effective mix of digital, outbound, direct outreach, events, partnerships, and emerging channels
- Own and run existing marketing infrastructure: content calendar, SEO/AEO program, website/vendor relationships, brand stewardship — keep these healthy while shifting the center of gravity toward pipeline generation
- Test and scale channels across inbound, outbound, and direct outreach, including target-account selection, campaign design, messaging, and sequencing; work closely with our commercial lead on qualification, follow-up, and conversion
- Establish measurement you can defend: one trusted funnel dashboard, clean attribution from spend/activity through to SQL and pipeline, numbers that hold up when questioned
- Track SEO/AEO with rigor: keyword rankings, AI answer-engine visibility, and qualified organic traffic monthly — not just "content is live"
- Manage a direct report on technical/website execution, and be technical enough yourself to sanity-check what they tell you
- Report proactively, including on what didn't work — we'd rather hear "we tried X, it didn't move the needle, here's why" than silence on a failed experiment
- Help test and shape Zenphi's expansion beyond its historical Google Workspace focus, including Microsoft 365 and cross-platform opportunities, using campaign and market evidence rather than assumptions
- Independently close out long-running projects rather than letting deadlines drift — you'll own delivery, not just planning
What we're looking for
- Typically 4+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience — demonstrated outcomes matter more than years — including at least one stretch personally building a demand-generation engine at a sub-$5M ARR company (not just managing agencies or inheriting an existing machine)
- Proven ability to identify and execute across multiple acquisition channels, with deep experience in at least two — including demand generation, outbound, paid acquisition, organic growth, events, partnerships, or direct outreach
- Demonstrated fluency across the full chain: spend/activity → qualified engagement → SQL → opportunity → pipeline/revenue
- Working proficiency across analytics tooling (GA4 and related platforms), with a track record of clean, defensible reporting
- Practical SEO/AEO and technical marketing knowledge — enough to run it and to sanity-check technical input from others
- Comfortable managing one direct report while remaining hands-on yourself — this is a builder role at this stage of the company, not a delegator role
- Sound commercial judgment on vendor commitments — comfortable pushing back on pay-upfront, multi-month vendor deals without safeguards
- Experience marketing to IT/ops or technical buyers in a B2B SaaS context; familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 ecosystems is a strong plus
- Comfortable working fully remote, with strong working-hours coverage against AEST (Melbourne)
- Professional-level English communication, written and verbal
Nice to have
- Experience running webinars/events with a pre-committed ROI case, not just attendance metrics
- A track record of pairing critique of existing strategy with a concrete alternative proposal
- Knowledge of process automation platforms is a big plus
Why Zenphi
- A real growth-stage seat: you'll build the engine in the driver's seat.
- Direct access to and backing from the CEO — no layers between you and the decisions that matter
- A lean, capable team that moves fast and trusts people to own outcomes
- The chance to help define how Zenphi wins against much larger, better-funded competitors — and get credit for it
