Accounts Assistant
Remote | £30,000–£35,000 | Permanent
I’m currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a fast-growing, scaling business on a permanent basis, working fully remotely.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in transactional finance who wants to be part of a business going through an exciting period of growth. You’ll join a collaborative finance team and play an important role in keeping the day-to-day finance operation running smoothly, while gaining broader exposure as the business continues to scale.
The role offers plenty of variety, combining core accounts responsibilities with regular interaction across the business and with customers/clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
- Completing bank and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Managing financial queries from clients and customers via email and phone
- Supporting the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations
- Working closely with the wider finance team across a range of activities
- Getting involved in additional finance projects and process improvements as the business grows
About you:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar role
- A good understanding of transactional finance and reconciliations
- Confident communicating with customers, clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable managing your own workload in a fully remote environment
- Keen to develop your finance experience within a growing and evolving business
