Senior Business Analyst

Our client is a B2B SaaS startup helping enterprises understand and modernize complex legacy applications (including mainframe). We’re hiring our first Business Analyst for the product team — someone who can build a solid requirements practice from scratch and make enterprise delivery predictable.

What you’ll do

• Run discovery calls/workshops with US/EU stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Security, Ops).
• Capture requirements shaped by enterprise reality: legacy behavior, compliance/security constraints, access approvals, installation/deployment flows, integrations.
• Convert high-level needs into clear technical specs and User Stories with measurable Acceptance Criteria.
• Support the team during sprints: unblock dev questions, align on edge cases, validate outcomes with customers.
• Create repeatable playbooks/templates (discovery notes, installation checklist, integration requirements, acceptance testing).

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years as a Business Analyst / System Analyst / Technical BA (or strong Implementation/Solutions background with solid documentation skills).
• Experience with enterprise / regulated environments (Banking/FinTech/Telecom/Public Sector or similar).
• Advanced English (leading meetings, negotiating scope with US/EU stakeholders).
• Strong documentation skills: technical specs, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• Technical literacy: APIs/REST, databases/SQL, integrations, basic auth/SSO, troubleshooting/log reading.

Nice to have

• On-prem / security reviews / SSO (SAML/OAuth/OIDC).
• Legacy modernization / mainframe context.
