AnalystX · Fully Remote · Full-time
AnalystX builds the AI-powered relationship intelligence and deal management platform for investment banks, private equity firms, venture capital funds, and family offices. We turn scattered emails, meetings, and introductions into a living network map, automate the busywork of roadshows, pipeline tracking, and CRM updates, and pull in enrichment from 40+ sources (PitchBook, Preqin, Crunchbase, Bloomberg, and more) so dealmakers can spend their time on relationships instead of data entry. Our thesis is simple: your network is your edge — we just make it usable.
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core platform: the data pipelines, integrations, and AI-driven features that turn raw relationship data into something investment banks, PE, and VC teams actually trust. You'll work across the stack, own meaningful pieces of the product end-to-end, and work directly with a small, senior team — no layers of process between you and shipping.
- Design and build core product features across the stack — from data ingestion and enrichment pipelines to the user-facing product.
- Work with LLM-based features (research, signal detection, automated summarization) and help push what's possible on top of them.
- Build and maintain integrations with financial data providers (PitchBook, Preqin, Crunchbase, Bloomberg, and similar) and customer CRMs.
- Make architecture decisions that hold up under the compliance and reliability bar our customers — regulated financial institutions — require.
- Own projects end-to-end: design, build, ship, and iterate based on real customer feedback.
- Help shape engineering practice and hiring as one of the earlier members of the team.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong fundamentals across backend and/or full-stack development.
- Track record of owning complex features or systems end-to-end, ideally at a startup or high-growth environment.
- Comfort working with APIs, data pipelines, and third-party integrations.
- Interest in applied AI/LLM systems — you don't need research-lab experience, but you should be excited to build real product on top of them.
- Strong communication skills — you'll work closely with a small team and directly with customer-facing feedback.
- Self-directed: comfortable with ambiguity and figuring out the right thing to build, not just executing a spec.
- Experience in fintech, capital markets, or another regulated industry.
- Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features in production.
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup (pre-seed to Series B).
- Base salary: $180,000–$230,000, based on experience and level — benchmarked at the top of market for senior engineers at early-stage AI/fintech startups.
- Meaningful equity — you're joining early enough for it to matter.
- Fully remote, with flexibility on hours and location.
- You'll join at a stage where your code is the product — high ownership, direct customer impact, and a front-row seat to how AI is reshaping how investment banks, PE, and VC firms manage their most valuable asset: relationships.
