Luxury Travel Designer

We are looking for a Luxury Travel Designer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Destination Management Company based in Athens, Greece, who will be able to work remotely, flexible hours, from Greece.

Our company offers a range of personalized premium travel and lifestyle management services for clients, including private travel, both leisure and business, celebrations, destination weddings, corporate events, experiences and wellness retreats all over Greece.

This position is ideal for a senior travel designer with extended experience in creating and selling luxury travel itineraries for discerning clients travelling to Greece. As an established Luxury Travel Designer you’ll combine your outstanding luxury travel designing skills, relationship building, negotiation and closing skills.

Luxury Travel Designer Responsibilities Include

· Design, present and sell personalized travel itineraries and once in a lifetime experiences allover Greece

· Outstanding luxury travel design, relationship building, negotiation and closing skills

· Delight the customer from start to finish using your remarkable travel design skills

· Build client relationships and handle international clients' requests, emails and calls

· Maintain and cultivate excellent relationships with suppliers such as airlines, hotels, yacht and car rental companies etc.

· Be highly creative and aspire to give clients a truly bespoke experience

· Client service, luxury travel design, account management, operations skills and sales experience within the travel industry is required

Luxury Travel Designer Skills Required

· Proven working experience as an Incoming Travel Designer for Greece

· Ability to use travel booking software such as Axus and other travel platforms

· Deep knowledge of Greece and ability to handle clients' requests from start to finish

· Deep knowledge of Italy would be advantageous

· Remarkable customer service skills & attention to details

· Demonstrable ability to handle crises, last minute requests or change of clients' plans

· Well versed in various private travel areas, business/leisure, groups, families, individuals etc

· Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism or relevant field will be preferred

· Proficiency in English and Greek, written and oral
