Asset Management Specialist | $80/hr Remote

Position: Hedge Fund / Asset Management Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $60 - $80/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Review and rigorously evaluate equity and/or credit research for analytical integrity and institutional-quality standards.
• Assess financial models, valuation analyses, and investment theses for rigor, consistency, and credibility.
• Provide clear, structured, and evidence-based written feedback on research outputs and evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with panel members to develop standardized rubrics and assessment criteria for public markets research.
• Participate in periodic review sessions to objectively score and differentiate analyst-level work products.
• Contribute market, sector, and multi-asset expertise to benchmark and elevate research quality.
• Identify analyst proficiency levels and provide insights on talent development needs.

Requirements

• Strong institutional experience in hedge funds, asset management, family offices, or multi-asset/credit research roles.
• Deep expertise in fundamental equity and/or credit research with advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Extensive experience in portfolio construction and position-level risk assessment.
• Proven ability to review, critique, or mentor analyst-level investment work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an evidence-based, detail-oriented approach.
• High standards of professional integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.
