Position: LMMS Specialists

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $40 - $100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Produce and document complete music production projects within LMMS from concept to final export.
• Demonstrate technical and creative decision-making across composition, sound design, arrangement, mixing, and mastering.
• Utilize LMMS across Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems.
• Work across multiple genres including electronic, hip-hop, pop, game audio, experimental, and podcasts.
• Apply advanced LMMS features including MIDI sequencing, automation, effect processing, and plugin integration.
• Communicate workflows, challenges, and production rationale through clear written and verbal updates.
• Contribute feedback and insights to improve AI models focused on professional music production practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience completing full music production projects using LMMS as the primary DAW.
• Comprehensive understanding of sound design, mixing, and music arrangement within LMMS.
• Proficiency operating LMMS on Linux, Mac, and Windows platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain production concepts clearly.
• Strong experience managing audio projects from concept through final export independently.
• Familiarity working across a variety of music genres and project types.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with experience documenting real-world production workflows.
