Business Development Manager

Our client, a growing technology company serving the automotive industry, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive outbound prospecting efforts and generate qualified sales opportunities with automotive dealerships nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage franchised and independent automotive dealerships through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach
• Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the sales team
• Build relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, Controllers, F&I Managers, and other dealership leaders
• Track pipeline activity and performance metrics within CRM systems
• Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategies and help scale the business development function

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business development, sales, or lead generation experience
• Experience selling into automotive dealerships
• Recent outbound cold-calling experience
• Proven success generating meetings and pipeline opportunities
• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms
• Strong understanding of sales KPIs, pipeline management, and performance-driven environments
