Joining the Cyfrin marketing team, you will have the dual mandate to drive the development and production of compelling content, support Product Marketing efforts for Cyfrin, and Cyfrin’s suite of products and services. 

The role involves creating content that aligns with Cyfrin’s go-to-market (GTM) and general marketing strategy, as well as its broader business goals. This includes supporting campaign and messaging development for GTM execution across various channels, such as blog posts, long/short-form pieces, case studies, the website, social media, newsletters, and more.

You will help shape product positioning, drive GTM execution, optimize adoption, and support sales. Your work will impact thousands of developers, security researchers, protocols, and touch the entire Cyfrin ecosystem.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with our exceptional product, engineering, design, and sales teams to promote the adoption of Cyfrin products and services, impacting tens of thousands of users, institutions, and enterprises globally.

We seek a candidate with a proven track record in content creation, editing, building campaigns, and communicating with developer, enterprise, and institutional audiences, particularly within high-growth startups where an ownership/entrepreneurial mindset is essential. The ideal candidate can operate at all levels, from strategy to execution. Is curious, has a bias toward action, and is excited about building in a high-growth company. 

RESPONSIBILITIESContent

  • Creation and editing: Craft and edit compelling blog posts, announcements, long and short-form content, website copy, and social media copy to communicate Cyfrin’s value proposition, vision, and message.
  • Strategy: Pitch content ideas and programs that align with Cyfrin’s industry position and vision. Then build them.
  • Project management: Manage the development of content you produce, including image procurement/creation, meta tags, CMS management, and internal/external links. 
  • Market insight: Integrate knowledge of market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape to position Cyfrin and Cyfrin’s content into the crypto zeitgeist.
  • Collaborative engagement: Work closely with the marketing, social media, product, and BD teams to ensure the delivery of a clear, accurate, and cohesive message.
  • Management: Manage freelance writers in assigning work and production, editing, publishing content–blog posts, glossary, etc. 
  • Additional: Experience with SEO/organic search, including keyword research, content, and on-page optimizations, internal/external link strategies is a bonus. 

Product positioning

  • Develop a unified product marketing framework for Cyfrin’s suite of products.
  • Understand Cyfrin’s key audiences and segments, its place in the industry, potential partners, and competitors.
  • Craft compelling, consistent narratives that clearly communicate Cyfrin’s story.
  • Partner with Sales to develop adequate collateral, including presentations, one-pagers, and case studies.

GTM

  • Develop, strategize, and lead GTM programs.
  • Create and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns in collaboration with Product, Sales, and BD to drive adoption, increase daily activity, and reduce churn.
  • Identify and monitor product and marketing KPIs 
  • Support Cyfrin’s broader marketing strategy, sales enablement, and launch plans.

On-going

  • Develop and implement growth and evergreen campaigns
  • Analyze performance and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Help create pitch decks, whitepapers, webinars, and case studies.
  • Help optimize SEO, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Stay ahead of trends and competitors.

EXPERIENCE

  • Expertise: 3-5 years of professional experience in some combination of writer, content creator, journalist, marketer, PR/Communications specialist, product marketing. Could be in Education, web3, SaaS, Fintech, AI, deep tech, or future tech spaces.
  • Communications: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. Strong storyteller with ability to create content, develop product marketing plans, and build roadmaps for multiple audiences. Possess the ability to distill complex concepts into engaging narratives.
  • Creative: A master wordsmith and naturally curious, you look beyond the obvious to reveal the sublime. You actively seek new ways of doing things and are more interested in overlooked angles than well-trodden cliches. 
  • Campaign management: Hands-on experience with managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Data-driven: Analytical mindset with proficiency in analyzing campaign performance and using insights to inform strategy. Ability to transform data into insight and insight into action.
