ABOUT ENVER
Enver Studio is one of the fastest-growing gaming companies in VR and mobile entertainment. Our games — Scary Baboon, MotoX, and FIFA Heroes — reach millions of players worldwide. We’re building the future of gaming culture by merging gameplay, creators, and global IPs into viral social moments.
We’re looking for a Lead Editor to own the post-production pipeline across Enver’s titles — from viral short-form to cinematic trailers. You’ll set the bar for quality, speed, and style; manage a roster of editors; and collaborate with content, social, and UA teams to turn raw ideas into scroll-stopping cuts.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
✂️ Editorial Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end editing for trailers, teasers, dev diaries, TikToks/Reels/Shorts, and creator collabs.
- Establish editorial standards (pacing, humor, SFX, captions, sound mix, color) and uphold them across all outputs.
- Build modular templates, motion packages, and repeatable series formats to scale volume without sacrificing quality.
👥 Team & Workflow Management
- Manage, mentor, and review work from in-house and freelance editors; give clear, actionable notes.
- Own post-production workflows: project setup, file naming, proxy pipelines, version control, and delivery specs.
- Schedule and resource plan against a fast-moving calendar of launches, updates, and live ops.
🎨 Creative Direction & Motion
- Partner with the Head of Content and Social Media Manager to translate briefs into tight story-driven edits.
- Collaborate with designers on graphic cards, lower thirds, memes, and animated explainers.
- Level up footage with motion design, audio polish, and tasteful color (LUTs/grades) as needed.
📈 Performance & Optimization
- Iterate using data: watch time curves, hook performance, CTR, and retention.
- Localize, caption, and master platform-native versions (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) with proper loudness and subtitles.
- Maintain a highlights library and b-roll archive to accelerate future edits.
🧰 Tools & Tech
- Primary: Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve), After Effects, Photoshop/Illustrator, Audition/Fairlight.
- Nice-to-have: Unreal/Unity capture, OBS, Streamline tools for gameplay recording, VO processing.
WHO YOU ARE
- 5–8 years in editorial/post for gaming, esports, or creator-led media, including team leadership.
- Expert sense of pacing, comedic timing, and hooks for Gen Z/Alpha audiences.
- Proven portfolio spanning short-form performance content and high-polish cinematic pieces.
- Organized operator who thrives on deadlines and can juggle multiple concurrent edits.
- Collaborative communicator who gives and receives feedback well — and ships.
- Deep gamer who understands platform culture, meme language, and what makes a cut shareable.
IMPORTANT POINTS
- Experience building post pipelines and managing a bench of freelancers/vendors.
- Comfortable capturing gameplay and directing in-engine or live-action shoots as needed.
- Familiar with data-informed editing and A/B creative testing for UA.
- Bonus: audio sweetening, VFX/compositing chops, or trailer editorial experience.
