About the Role
Hawthorne Health is seeking a successful hunter and closer who thrives on engaging prospects to become clients, relentlessly working to grow revenue and customer success.
This role will help expand business with our current enterprise customers while increasing access to new customers. The individual must have a proven track record of closing large, multi-site, deals with pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
This person will be a key player in the commercial team and will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting qualified enterprise prospects into paying customers according to a quarterly and annual quota. We are looking for a skilled communicator and presenter who can find the best fit between client and product. The ideal candidate will be organized, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the buyer experience. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Responsibilities
- Identify ongoing and planned study opportunities within biopharma pipelines that align with Hawthorne’s therapeutic strengths
- Serve as a subject matter expert in community-based clinical trials, educating buyers in our differentiated offering
- Collaborate with the commercial and clinical operations teams throughout the sales process from lead to post-sales support
- Excite our customers in how we are transforming the way clinical trials are conducted in the the community
- Partner with Project Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities within current accounts
- Be a trusted partner to the product team. Relay customer, sales and market insights, to help inform product roadmap decisions and strategy
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of successful enterprise Sales or Business Development selling to pharma and biotech clinical operations decision makers
- Strong understanding of clinical trials with pharmaceutical / medical device companies
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to show value and explain new technology in clear, easy to understand terms to executives
- Solid understanding of enterprise business models and ecosystems
- Expertise in acquiring new business, account development, and organizational excellence
- Strong track record achieving annual growth targets
- Self-starter who can own deals from start to finish with minimal guidance
- Experience using prospecting tools and CRMs
- Experience working with diverse remote teams and clients
- Deep understanding of key stakeholders and buying process within the clinical trials market
- Great collaborator with willingness & drive to help teammates to succeed
- Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects
