💼 Senior Commercial Manager – Energy Infrastructure / Net Zero

📍 London, Bristol or Manchester (Remote)

We’re actively supporting a growing energy infrastructure business as they expand their commercial function to keep pace with project demand across clean power, decarbonisation, and industrial electrification.

They’re now looking to bring in a Senior Commercial Manager to lead on commercial deal structuring, contract negotiations, and cost optimisation across major energy and infrastructure projects.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being close to the numbers but equally comfortable working cross functionally to shape deals and delivery strategy.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead commercial negotiations across EPCs, PPAs, land agreements and JV structures
  • Build robust commercial models to support investment cases and delivery planning
  • Work with development, legal and finance teams to assess risks and shape strategy
  • Support project bids, pricing structures and ongoing cost analysis
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage key commercial relationships

What You’ll Need

  • Strong commercial background in energy, infrastructure or utilities
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts (NEC, FIDIC, JV frameworks etc.)
  • Good financial acumen able to interpret models and assess commercial risk
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Ideally experience supporting projects through development, construction, and into operation

This role offers a lot of visibility internally and would suit someone stepping out of a consulting environment or looking to move closer to asset ownership and delivery.
