We are currently seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will work on innovative projects, building and maintaining scalable applications using a modern tech stack. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using Node.js, GoLang, React, and SQL databases.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for partner integrations.
• Design and optimize front-end applications using React, Redux, and GraphQL (Apollo).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Designers, and other Engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and pair programming.
• Conduct unit testing and end-to-end testing using Jest and Cypress.
• Troubleshoot and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Key Criteria:

• Commercial experience with backend development, particularly with Node.js and GoLang.
• Proficiency in front-end development using React, Redux, and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and SQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with agile development practices, including peer reviews and pair programming.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first team with occasional travel to London or Bristol.

• Cloud: AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, ActiveMQ
• Development Tools: Jest, Cypress, Figma, Git
