Are you a detail-obsessed Bookkeeper with a knack for keeping everything balanced and on time? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and process are everything? Australia's leading luxury villa rental business is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to own day-to-day bookkeeping, AR/AP, payroll prep, bank reconciliations, and an accurate month-end close—no board packs or management reporting required! You’ll also coordinate an overseas resource to support transactional tasks.

What You’ll Do
- Accounts Payable: Capture/code invoices, run weekly payments, manage creditor aging, resolve disputes
- Accounts Receivable: Issue invoices, apply receipts, reconcile AR, follow up overdue accounts
- Payroll Prep: Prep payroll inputs, reconcile PAYG & super
- Banking/Reconciliations: Weekly reconciliation of all accounts, maintain clearing accounts, resolve exceptions
- Month-End Close: Complete reconciliations, post accruals/prepayments, lock prior month, maintain SOPs/checklists
- Deliverables:
- Daily/Weekly: Bank recs, AP/AR, payroll prep
- Monthly: Month-end close in 5 business days
- Quarterly/Annually: BAS support, year-end tax pack
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7+ years’ bookkeeping experience (Xero)
- Industry experience in real estate, short-stay accommodation, property management, or hospitality (bonus!)
- Experience managing offshore/remote admin or finance resources
- BAS Agent, Cert IV Bookkeeping/Accounting, or equivalent
- Detail-oriented, reliable, process-driven
- Strong skills in reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll prep, advanced Excel
- Great communicator and team player
