Maltem Australia is entering a new phase of growth and is looking for a Business Manager to lead the expansion of its Data, Analytics & AI consulting business across Australia.

This strategic leadership role will drive new client acquisition, market positioning, and revenue growth, while shaping the commercial strategy in close collaboration with the CEO and leadership team.

Ideally, you bring an established network across the Data, Analytics and AI ecosystem in Australia and are excited about helping scale a consulting business in a high-growth market.

The Business Manager will help shape the commercial strategy, strengthen our market presence, and drive sustainable growth in the region.

Your Mission

As Business Manager, you will lead Maltem’s commercial development and market expansion across Australia.

You will define and execute the business development strategy, develop strategic client partnerships, and structure the commercial approach required to scale the business.

Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you will also contribute to shaping the company’s growth strategy while tracking and reporting on business performance, pipeline development, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead Maltem’s business development strategy in Australia
  • Open and grow strategic enterprise client accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders and senior decision-makers
  • Drive consulting opportunities across Data, Analytics, Cloud, and AI initiatives
  • Develop and manage a high-value consulting sales pipeline
  • Partner with consulting and delivery leaders to ensure successful client engagements
  • Structure and scale the commercial capability as the business grows
  • Present market strategy and growth plans to the CEO and leadership team
  • Track, analyse, and report key business and revenue metricsExpected Impact

  • Typically 5–15 years of experience in business development, account management, or consulting sales
  • Proven track record in enterprise business development
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and executives
  • An established network across the Data, Analytics and AI ecosystem
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive market expansion
  • Experience building or leading commercial teams
  • Understanding or strong interest in data platforms, analytics, cloud, and AI technologies
