This is a remote volunteer position for a Full Stack Web Developer. The Full Stack Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of web applications. The developer will work alongside a team of developers and will be expected to participate in regular meetings and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of backend web development concepts, architectures, and technologies such as Node.js, Django, Flask, and SQL/NoSQL Databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure, and serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda and Serverless Framework.
• Demonstrated understanding of Web Services, RESTful and SOAP APIs, and API integration technologies such as Postman and Swagger.
• Expertise in version control systems such as Git and knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of frontend web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, React, and Angular.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively and to work collaboratively with cross-functional and remote teams.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Create a simple, calming, forum-style webpage where users can anonymously share thoughts or feelings. The goal is to provide a safe, inclusive digital space that encourages expression and empathy.

Role Description

As an applicant, you will design and implement a minimal yet thoughtful web experience that captures anonymous submissions and displays them in a live feed. You may use any tools you’re comfortable with and are encouraged to showcase product sense, accessibility, and care for user safety.

Minimum Requirements

• A form to submit messages anonymously (no login)
• A visible feed showing submitted messages

Optional Enhancements (Bonus)

• Basic moderation (e.g., detect and block abusive or harmful language)
• Timestamps and/or emoji support for messages
• Animated transitions, submission confirmations, or other UX polish
• Soothing UI theme, accessible design, and responsive layout

Tools & Approach

Use any technologies or helpers you prefer (e.g., Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, plain HTML/CSS/JS, etc.). Treat this like a real development environment and feel free to make sensible design decisions.
