About Pixel Systems
Pixel Systems is a small software agency that builds tools teams actually use. We do not build flashy consumer apps or marketing sites. Our work focuses on the practical side of software: admin panels, CRM integrations, and database migrations. We believe that working code is better than a plan that never ships. Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes, perform weekly demos, and hand over everything (the code, the documentation, and walkthrough videos) when we are finished. We use reliable technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain.
The role
In this position, you will be the glue that holds our project workflows together. You will spend your time organizing tasks, updating project boards, and making sure our developers have the information they need to keep building. Because we work remotely, your ability to communicate clearly in writing is essential. You will help translate client feedback into actionable tasks and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks during the development cycle. You will also play a part in our weekly client demos by helping to prepare summaries of our progress and documenting how new features work for the end users.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is organized by nature and enjoys bringing order to complex situations. Since this is an entry-level role, we do not require a long history of professional project management. What we need is someone who can communicate effectively, manage their own time in a remote setting, and stay focused on the details. You should be comfortable using digital tools to track work and be willing to learn the technical language our developers use every day. Reliability and a common-sense approach to problem-solving are more important to us than specific certifications.
Helpful background
- Basic familiarity with project tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Notion.
- An interest in how software is built and a willingness to learn about APIs and databases.
- Experience writing clear, concise summaries or documentation.
- Comfortable using basic technical tools like GitHub to check task statuses.
- Previous experience in a role that required high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- A preference for practical solutions over complex processes.
Working here means being part of a small, flat team where everyone contributes directly to the final product. There are no unnecessary layers of management, and we avoid long, unproductive meetings. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive. We value honesty and pragmatism, and we prioritize building software that solves real operational headaches for our clients. This is a paid position, and the compensation is competitive for the market and this level of experience. You will have the chance to see exactly how software projects move from a concept to a finished tool that people use for their daily work.
Pixel Systems is a place for people who prefer doing good work over chasing trends. We keep our team small so that we can stay focused on building high-quality tools without the drama often found in larger organizations. We believe in steady progress and clear communication, and we look for people who share that same grounded approach to their work.
