Human Resources Manager

Our client, a rapidly expanding Construction & Program Management firm (under 50 employees and growing), is seeking a proactive and strategic HR Manager to lead their people operations. The ideal candidate will or has had experience with smaller but growing firms. Candidates in South Carolina are preferred.

This is a DIRECT HIRE and REMOTE position!

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and Onboard new hires
• Conduct performance management and provide feedback
• Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
• Support with driving culture across remote workers throughout the US
• Ensure multi-state compliance
• Strong background with building and implementing HR systems / processes from the ground up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 5 to 10+ years' experience in Human Resources
• Must have experience in the AEC industry
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Experience with Gusto, Deltek and payroll within billable-hour environments
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
