Role Description This full-time remote Software Engineer role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support a high-traffic job platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code; implementing back-end services and APIs; and collaborating with product, design, and data teams to deliver new features. The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, improve application performance, and ensure security and reliability across the platform. The role also involves contributing to technical planning, refining architecture, and continuously improving development workflows and tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-ready applications.
- Candidates should possess experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs and working with databases.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying design patterns in real-world projects.
- Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar) and version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
