Data Analyst

About the Opportunity:

The Data Analyst role involves transforming data into actionable insights to help clients make informed decisions. The position requires collaboration with engineers, project and technical leaders, and business stakeholders to identify trends and visualize key data.

Responsibilities:

• Translate questions into analytical problems and provide clear, data-driven answers.

• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to help users explore key metrics.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform decisions.

• Work with incomplete or messy data, asking questions to clarify and guide analysis.

• Address ambiguity by identifying assumptions, experimenting, and iterating quickly.

• Solve ambiguous problems using the best available data.

• Conduct deeper analysis to understand why events occurred, not just what happened.

• Challenge assumptions and investigate root causes using a hypothesis-driven approach.

• Develop scalable and repeatable reporting and analytics solutions.

• Ensure data integrity and quality in all analyses.

• Document methods and train others to maintain continuity and shared understanding.

• Move quickly, experiment, adapt, and find creative solutions to technical challenges.

• Balance speed with quality, delivering fast without cutting corners.

• Collaborate across teams to combine diverse skills and perspectives.

• Assist with tasks ranging from data wrangling to refining executive presentations.

• Translate complex analytics into plain language for non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience using data to answer business questions through analysis, visualization, and storytelling.

• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain ideas clearly to different audiences.

• Curious mindset with a passion for exploring data and uncovering additional insights.

• Experience working with stakeholders to understand problems and deliver impactful insights.
