Senior Project Manager

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of the grantmaking platform as a key member of the Client Services Team. This role serves as the primary liaison for clients, managing all aspects of project delivery from planning through execution. The position ensures projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and driving successful outcomes.

3. Responsibilities:

• Execute projects according to defined timelines, methodologies, scope, and budgets

• Track, document, and report project progress to management and stakeholders

• Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues appropriately

• Facilitate discovery sessions to translate client needs into functional requirements and user stories

• Communicate proactively and effectively with clients and stakeholders

• Represent the organization professionally, managing client requests promptly

• Lead sessions to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines

• Manage client expectations and negotiate project decisions confidently

• Conduct demos and training as needed

• Develop and manage change orders when appropriate

• Contribute to the development of project management tools, best practices, and documentation

• Support team efforts with testing, user stories, and documentation

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of professional project management experience

• At least 2 years managing SaaS software projects, implementations, and client-facing roles

• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and deadline management skills

• Proactive problem solver with the ability to anticipate client needs and address issues

• Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, empathy, and collaboration

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment

• Experience managing senior leadership and key stakeholders

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated, independent, and positive attitude

• Technical proficiency with productivity and project management tools

• PMP certification preferred but not required

• Familiarity with grant management, nonprofit or social impact sectors, agile methodologies, and Salesforce or grant-making software is a plus

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The expected annual base salary for this role is $100,000 to $120,000

• Starting salary depends on location, candidate skills, qualifications, and experience

• Compensation practices are market-based and consider geographic cost of labor
