Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Specialist at Riviera Finance. The Business Development Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a pipeline of leads, and schedule consultations or presentations for prospective clients. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, prospecting via phone, email, and online channels, and nurturing relationships with referral partners and decision-makers. The role will also involve explaining Riviera Finance’s invoice factoring solutions, gathering client requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to support proposals and onboarding. The specialist will maintain accurate records in CRM tools, track performance metrics, and collaborate with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, build rapport, and provide clear, professional support.
- Proficiency in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify target segments, qualify opportunities, and develop outreach strategies.
- Solid Analytical Skills to assess client needs, review basic financial information, and interpret data from CRM and sales reports.
- Experience in business development, inside sales, or B2B financial services is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, pipeline management, and virtual collaboration tools.
- Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of factoring, commercial finance, or small business lending is a plus.
