KEY PURPOSE:

This role will have sales responsibility for managing the local or regional specialty channel territory by achieving sales and profitability goals, while building long-term, mutually profitable account partnerships across Speedo’s specialty sales channel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive GTM and sell-in functions for all regional customers in the territory/channel.
  • Develop and implement business plans by account to achieve sales goals.
  • Lead & coordinate GTM process with internal cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Design, & Planning, to build proposed assortments that are validated by consumer insights & research, and align with the company’s sales and profitability goals.
  • Secure orders and work with Customer Service partners to ensure the order book is clean & accurate, including delivery dates, ship windows, style information, and order quantities.
  • Partner with Forecasting & Production Planning teams to analyze business, and build & maintain forecasts to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Partner with Retail Planning team to manage and report internal financial shipping estimates, order files, profitability results and retailer's open to buy.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to develop digital & in-store POS strategies to support sales initiatives.
  • Maintain account contract and manage any co-op agreement, while also implementing and managing Speedo’s Terms & Conditions including any MAPP or 3P marketplace seller policies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales or account management in the swim, active, or surf industries across multiple customers and customer types.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or sales or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven success in sales territories and achieve annual sales goals ($1M+).
  • Experience in managing relationships with Account Buyers, marketing, planning, & store personnel.
  • Strong retail math skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Achieve sales revenue and EBIT goals.
  • Manage end of season margin/markdown negotiations & budgets.
  • Identifying issues and putting into place effective solutions.
  • Scheduling & managing travel, expense budgets, & go-to-market calendar.
  • Self-starter, solutions oriented, driven for results, product oriented.
  • Fast-paced, energetic, with ability to multi-task & deal with shifting demands and priorities.
  • Travel and transporting samples required.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

Base pay is a portion of our total compensation package and determined within a range that allows growth and development within your role. Your base pay will be determined based on experience, skills and qualifications.
