We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager / Director of Business Development to join our Streamline Fulfillment team!
Role Description:
As the Director of Business Development, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and securing new business opportunities for our cable installations and drop bury services (B2B only). You'll be responsible for identifying potential clients, establishing and nurturing relationships, and working closely with our operations and marketing teams to deliver customized solutions that meet our clients' needs. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for sales and a proven track record in B2B telecommunications services.
- Work location: fully remote (US-based); up to 10% travel may be required (industry events, crucial client meetings, etc).
- Head office: Elk Grove Village, IL.
- Engagement options: Full-time / part-time (negotiable).
- Work type: 1099 contract / W2 employment (negotiable).
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the telecommunications industry.
- Established network within ISP / OSP environments.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, cable installation, and construction services.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential partnerships in telecommunications and related sectors.
- Identify and pursue partnership through networking, attending industry events, and following up on potential client inquiries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Work with internal teams to develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and contracts that align with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Develop, execute, and monitor strategies to meet or exceed company revenue targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.
- Track and report on key metrics, including pipeline development, lead conversion, and customer feedback to optimize sales processes and strategies.
