Title: Project Coordinator – Retail Capital ProjectsLocation:RemotePay:$26/hourCoordinate Store Projects Across a National Retail Network

Join a Fortune 500 retailer as a Project Coordinator supporting the planning and execution of key initiatives across a national store footprint—including new store openings, remodels, expansions, and department updates. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and field leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with clear communication throughout every phase.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires excellent organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with national impact, we’d love to hear from you.

–What You’ll DoProject Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate project timelines, scope, and vendor communication for store projects
  • Maintain and track project schedules and capital expenditure requests (CERs)
  • Create and distribute bid packages, award letters, and contracts
  • Communicate scope, plans, and schedules to field teams and vendors
  • Conduct pre-, during-, and post-installation calls and site visits when needed
  • Support permit submissions and approvals with expeditors and engineers
  • Track punch lists and close out open issues after project completion

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide ongoing project updates and dashboards for leadership and field teams
  • Schedule kickoff calls and postmortems with internal and external stakeholders
  • Report on vendor performance and ensure timely schedule releases to relevant teams

Expense Management

  • Track and update project budgets and forecasts
  • Maintain accurate vendor files and records
  • Support cost estimation and quote gathering for capital requests

–What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in retail, construction, or operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with vendor coordination and field communication preferred
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Ariba is a plus
