Overview:

Plan2Placement is proud to partner with a rapidly growing, enterprise-level technology company headquartered in New York City to identify a high-performing HR Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across their Human Resources function.

This is a fully remote role, but candidates residing in the greater NYC or Tri-State area due to periodic in-person collaboration is highly preferred. This role will play a vital part in supporting People Operations, Total Rewards, and Talent Management through insightful analytics, system optimization, and HR data strategy. You will be part of a dynamic HR team that values innovation, integrity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR data analytics and reporting, supporting HR leadership in driving business decisions.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to visualize workforce metrics (e.g., headcount, attrition, DEI, time-to-fill, employee engagement).
  • Support compensation and benefits benchmarking through market data research, salary band modeling, and internal parity analysis.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze HRIS data (Workday or similar) to ensure data integrity and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reporting packages for executive and board-level consumption.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations teams to identify and solve for data gaps and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR programs and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws through proactive audit reporting and data controls.
  • Assist in HRIS enhancements, workflow improvements, and system migrations as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Analyst, People Analytics, or Workforce Analytics role within a mid-to-large sized organization (tech industry experience highly preferred).
  • Strong expertise in advanced Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros, complex formulas), and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience working with modern HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of core HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation, employee lifecycle, and organizational development.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate actionable insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a data integrity mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SQL or Python for ad hoc data extraction is a plus.
  • Experience supporting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) reporting and compliance metrics.
  • Previous experience in a high-growth or M&A environment is a strong plus.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or People Analytics certifications are desirable but not required.

Why You Should Apply:

  • Join a tech-forward company undergoing rapid national growth and organizational scaling.
  • Work remotely with a NYC-based team that values innovation, transparency, and personal development.
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and significant opportunities for advancement.
  • Be at the forefront of using analytics to shape company culture and employee experience.
