Job Description:Experience Level: 3–5 years
Client is seeking a People Support Advisor to join its AskPPL HR Shared Services team, delivering a 5-star experience through frontline support for all employee HR-related inquiries. This temporary role is ideal for a candidate with strong HR generalist or shared services experience, particularly in U.S. benefits, leaves, and high-volume case handling. You’ll be part of a collaborative, solutions-focused team committed to process excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 HR support across the employee lifecycle (Day 1 to post-employment)
- Triage and manage cases in Wolken case management system; escalate as necessary
- Respond to U.S. and Canadian benefits and leave inquiries
- Handle administrative tasks: Verifications of Employment, Business Visa letters, and more
- Support L&OD operations and other Tier 1 service tasks
- Collaborate cross-functionally to share feedback and improve service delivery
- Generate and analyze HR metrics and contribute to service performance improvement
- Uphold service excellence and ensure adherence to SLAs and confidentiality standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HR generalist or shared services experience
- General HR knowledge across multiple functional areas
- Strong understanding of U.S./Canada benefits and leave policies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, Workday, and case management tools
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and focused on quality service delivery
- Able to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in HR or a related field
- Experience with HR metrics reporting and analysis
- Comfortable with cross-level communication—from employees to senior leaders
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information
