Job Title: Payroll SpecialistJob Location: 100% 100% REMOTE (EST based Client)Project Duration: 8-12+ months contract with possible extensionW2 Position --------NOTE : Candidates are required to complete the video-enabled “Glider Assessment” ASAP prepared by the client. A test email link will be sent to complete the MCQ-based questions.Once you receive the assessment link, please complete it at the earliest, as the resume can only be submitted to the client after the assessment is completed.JOB DESCRIPTIONKey Responsibilities:
• Process accurate and timely payroll for employees.
• Review timekeeping records and perform payroll audits/reconciliations.
• Manage payroll for employees on leave of absence (LOA).
• Maintain payroll and employee data in Workday/UKG and HRIS systems.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and support HR, Benefits, and Finance teams.
• Ensure payroll compliance, confidentiality, and continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED.
• 1–3 years of payroll experience.
• 1+ year of Workday and UKG experience.
• Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, data entry, and employee support.
• Strong Excel, MS Office, communication, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
Preferred:
• 2–3+ years with Workday/UKG.
• Multi-state payroll experience.
• Payroll or Workday certification
